Winsor & Newton Linseed Stand Oil 75ml

Winsor & Newton Linseed Stand Oil in a 75ml bottle is a pale, viscous oil that can enhance the flow of oil colours when mixed with Turpentine or White (Mineral) Spirit. While it retards drying, it imparts a tough, elastic finish, making it ideal for use in oil painting. When used in conjunction with Turpentine or Artists White Spirit, it improves colour flow and provides a smooth enamel finish with no brush marks and excellent levelling. Slows drying and imparts a tough, smooth enamel finish. Can be used for glazing and as an alternative to Refined Linseed Oil. Makes oil colours “fatter” for a smoother application. Gives oil colours a glossy finish without brush marks. Increases the durability of colours and resists yellowing over time. The bottle’s shape and non-drip opening make it easy to hold and pour, ensuring convenient usage during painting sessions.
