This permanent masking medium from Winsor & Newton is ideal for masking areas of paper and making them resistant to water. Unlike art masking fluid, this permanent alternative is made from a liquid wax. Once dry, this masking fluid can not be removed from the surface however it will continue to repel any water and watercolour washes. Permanent masking fluid can be mixed with watercolours to colour it and create details on the paper. Once dry these details won’t get covered by washes or other colours.
