Winsor & Newton 75ml Opaque Art Masking Fluid

Winsor & Newton art masking fluid is a pigmented liquid latex. When applied to the page, masking fluid creates a waterproof barrier to block out ink and watercolour paints. If you want to apply broad washes of colour without covering key details, art masking fluid can be used to cover the important areas and protecting them from the paint. This masking fluid contains pigment that gives it a slight yellow tint, making it easier to see where it is on the paper if it hasn’t already been covered. Masking fluid can be applied straight to the paper, or on top of dry layers of paint. Once paint is dry, the fluid can be peeled off to reveal what is underneath. Masking fluid should be applied with an old brush or dip pen and washed out immediately when done.
