Retarder is an additive that artists use to increase the drying time of their acrylic paints giving them longer to work the medium and make alterations to their work. This retarder by Golden is perfect for wet in wet techniques and it reduces the skinning on the palette. Retarders do not contain any binding agents so we recommend in order to guarantee adhesion, that when adding the retarder to your medium and colours it doesn’t exceed 15% or a ratio of 1:6. – Brand: Golden – Retarder – Increases open (drying) time of acrylic paints – Ideal for acrylics – Perfect for wet in wet techniques
