The Fire & Hide Purse in Cognac from Elvis & Kresse mixes hand woven rescued leather off cuts from Burberry and decommissioned fire hoses that have been used in the line of duty to put fires out all over the UK before being repurposed into this beautiful purse. The interior of the purse is lined with a uniquely soft reclaimed parachute silk. The purse has a classic style which features great organisational potential in one sleek shape. It has 12 credit card or debit card slots keeping your cards neatly arranged, a zipped coin compartment, a section for noted currency and finally 2 additional areas for receipts or your phone. It is handmade and has hand painted edges with an etched Elvis & Kresse logo located at the front, and was voted the best purses to store your must have items in style by The Independent in 2019. Elvis & Kresse fell in love with London’s decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. They took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill, and vowed to donate 50% of our profits to charity.
