Elvis & Kresse Purse Black Handmade Fire Hose

This Black Purse from Elvis & Kresse has been crafted from a reclaimed printing blanket along with their signature decommissioned red fire hose that will have seen active duty, putting out fires all around the UK in some cases for up to 25 years before being repurposed into this beautiful purse. It features 12 slots for storing your credit cards, a zipped coin compartment to keep your coins secure, a space for noted money and 2 additional sections for receipts and loose paper. The lining of the purse is made from reclaimed military grade parachute silk giving a wonderful texture to the interior. The purse is oyster card friendly and is handmade with hand painted edges giving a bespoke and unique look to the purse. Due to the nature of the material the purse is water resistant and can be wiped clean with ease, and located on the zipper is an etches Elvis & Kresse logo. Elvis & Kresse fell in love with London’s decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. They took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill, and vowed to donate 50% of our profits to charity. For over a decade they have been rescuing all of London’s retired fire-hose by lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits from the Fire-hose Collection to The Fire Fighters Charity. This heroic material, once used to save lives, gets a second chance to keep giving back. – Brand: Elvis & Kresse – Dimensions Closed: H 18 x W 11 x D 2 cm – Exterior: Choice of genuine decommissioned British fire-hose or reclaimed printing blanket – Lining: Reclaimed military-grade parachute silk – Sections for 12 credit cards or business cards – Zip compartment for coins – Oyster card friendly – Colour: Black – Robust Construction – Vegan friendly – Water resistant and can be wiped clean – Handmade with hand-painted edges – 50% of profits go to The Fire Fighters Charity
