The Titanium White ground not only provides a pristine white base but can also be tinted with other colours to set the mood or atmosphere of your painting. It's an excellent tool for correcting mistakes on traditional watercolour paper, acting as a white-out to seamlessly cover errors and provide a fresh surface for reworking. Ideal for various surfaces, including paper, canvas, fabric, wood, plaster, shell, hardboard, glass, metal, and plastic, this ground offers artists the freedom to explore watercolour painting beyond conventional paper. The thick, brushable consistency allows for easy application, and once dry, the ground will not reactivate, ensuring the stability of your work. To achieve the best results, apply the ground straight from the tub using a soft, synthetic brush for a smooth finish or a hog bristle brush for a textured effect. One coat is typically sufficient, but very absorbent surfaces may require additional coats. Allow the surface to cure for 24 hours before painting.
