Chilly's Bottle Tate Collection John Piper 500ml

A Chilly's bottle and Tate Collection collaboration with aesthetic details influenced from John Piper’s Abstract I, 1935. Chilly's bottles are 100% leak-proof and reusable, and it's double-walled vacuum design means that whilst the contents will keep either cold or hot, the outside will remain at room temperature. In-fact you can keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot drinks hot for 12 hours! Each one can hold 500ml of liquid, and these Chilly’s Series 2 bottles feature an anti-microbial drinking collar, non-slip rubber base, and a black silicone carry loop on the lid making it the best designed bottle in the world. When using we recommend cleaning the bottle after use with hot soapy water, but don’t leave to soak. For a very thorough clean, we’d recommend bicarbonate soda with water. When not in use, store without the cap on. About the artist John Piper (1903 – 1992) was a British painter, best known for his poetic depictions of the British landscape. Born in Epsom, Surrey, Piper began studying art in 1927 at The Richmond College of Art and then at the Royal College of Art. His early work reflected the trend for abstraction and was influenced by his frequent trips to Paris where he befriended the artist Alexander Calder. He worked across an extraordinary range of disciplines including designs for stained glass and theatre sets yet his powerful and romantic paintings of the British landscape are considered his most iconic work.
