Arches Aquarelle is a top quality watercolour paper made from 100% cotton. Traditional mould-made manufacturing techniques make the paper harmonious with a natural grain similar to handmade paper. The cotton fibres are equally distributed throughout the paper, making it more stable and helping to prevent deformation when wet. The paper itself is hot pressed to give a flat and smooth texture with each of the sheets measuring 56 cm by 76 cm and a weight of 185gsm, giving you plenty of space and sheets for the most demanding of watercolour painters. Unique gelatin stock-sizing techniques are employed and used in all Arches watercolour papers, giving the ability to withstand scraping and shows colours at their most vibrant whilst being able to absorb a large amount of water with little deformation.
