The stretched canvas is quadruple primed which gives an incredible amount of protection, helping to coat and shield the cotton strands from the oxidisation that occurs over a period of time when using oil based paints specifically. The canvas is made from 100% cotton and they are all completely acid-free that helps to prevent yellowing over time and keeps your work preserved and as fresh as when you painted it.
